Although some brands like La Sportiva and Scarpa have great craftsmanship. The rubber is seriously lacking when it comes to quality all-around friction on rock. Especially on soft volcanic and sandstone rock. These harder rubbers also tend to (polish) after use. Making them useless. The hard rubber does last longer, but is definitely not as sticky as other rubbers available today.
