Hueco Tanks - Hacienda de la Fuerza
1990 FLASHBACK
Todd Skinner, Amy Whisler, Scott Milton, Sandra Studer and John and Carol Gogus built a nine bedroom retreat home on a quite patch of desert at the foot of Hueco Tanks. Difficult boulder problems were at their peak at Hueco Tanks and this group was there to take advantage of the diamonds in the rough. Today the house is known as the Hueco Rock Ranch, same idea, similar program, just new owners. After Hueco Tanks closed 75% of the park to public access in 1998, Todd and the crew packed up and sold the property to Rob Rice (climber).
